Amina Avdić
Amina Avdić je multimedijalna umjetnica koja kroz svoj rad istražuje prostor, percepciju i odnose između vidljivog i nevidljivog. Završila je Produkt dizajn na Akademija likovnih umjetnosti u Sarajevu 2010. godine, nakon Srednje škole primijenjenih umjetnosti – odsjek kiparstvo. Upravo je trodimenzionalnost skulpture oblikovala njen način razmišljanja i prirodno je usmjerila prema multimedijalnom pristupu realizaciji ideja. Kroz svoj autorski opus, koji obuhvata pokretnu i nepokretnu sliku, instalacije i istraživačke procese, kontinuirano istražuje prostore koji nisu nužno vidljivi oku. Važnu prekretnicu u njenom umjetničkom radu predstavlja debitantski kratki film „Misao umjetnika“, realizovan sa Ivanom Bosiljčićem i premijerno prikazan na Sarajevo Film Festival, kroz koji istražuje unutrašnji svijet pojedinca i prostor misli kao nevidljivu unutrašnju scenografiju. Od instalacije „Šav“, koja kroz simboliku ratnog paravana govori o memoriji i zajedničkom iskustvu, preko projekta „Prvi vikend u aprilu“, realizovanog sa Amnom Alispahić, u kojem istražuje iskustva slijepih i slabovidnih osoba, do dokumentarnog filma „Roš – Znati misliti“, koji je trenutno u završnoj fazi realizacije, njen rad povezuje isto pitanje — kako prostor, iskustvo i način na koji mislimo oblikuju naš odnos prema svijetu.
Amina Avdić is a multimedia artist whose work explores space, perception, and the relationship between the visible and the invisible. She graduated in Product Design from the Academy of Fine Arts Sarajevo in 2010, after completing the School of Applied Arts with a focus on sculpture. The three-dimensional nature of sculpture shaped her way of thinking and naturally guided her toward a multimedia approach to artistic expression. Through her artistic practice — which includes moving and still image, installations, and research-based processes — she continuously explores spaces that are not necessarily visible to the eye. An important milestone in her artistic journey was her debut short film “The Artist’s Thought,” created in collaboration with Ivan Bosiljčić and premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival, where she explored the inner world of the individual and the space of thought as an invisible internal scenography. From the installation “Seam,” which uses the symbolism of a wartime screen to reflect on memory and collective experience, to the project “The First Weekend in April,” created with Amna Alispahić and focused on the experiences of blind and visually impaired people, and the documentary film “Roš – Knowing How to Think,” currently in its final stage of production, her work is connected by the same central question — how space, experience, and the way we think shape our relationship with the world.
