Maja Okanović
Maja Okanović je socijalna pedagoginja i direktorica Međunarodni interaktivni otvoreni centar (MIOC) sa višegodišnjim iskustvom u kreiranju i vođenju razvojnih i edukativnih programa za djecu i odrasle, kao i upravljanju međunarodnim projektima iz oblasti obrazovanja. Kroz svoj profesionalni angažman posvećena je razvoju inovativnih pristupa koji povezuju stručni rad, podršku porodici i razvoj zajednice. Tokom karijere vodila je i koordinirala brojne domaće i međunarodne projekte usmjerene na razvoj otvorenih škola u zajednici, osnaživanje djece i mladih, promociju inkluzivnog obrazovanja te unapređenje društvenog dijaloga i međusektorske saradnje. Kao direktorica MIOC-a posvećena je razvoju inovativnih i održivih programa koji doprinose individualnom i profesionalnom razvoju djece, mladih, roditelja i stručnjaka. Pod njenim vodstvom MIOC djeluje kao sigurno i podsticajno okruženje za učenje, razvoj kompetencija i umrežavanje, sa jasnom vizijom stvaranja humanijeg društva. Tokom profesionalnog angažmana sarađivala je sa organizacijama civilnog društva, obrazovnim institucijama i međunarodnim donatorima na projektima iz oblasti obrazovanja, zdravstva, prevencije ovisnosti, ljudskih prava i socijalne podrške. Diplomirala je socijalnu pedagogiju na Edukacijsko-rehabilitacijskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Tuzli, a dodatno se stručno usavršavala u oblastima senzorne integracije, liderstva, psihoterapijskih tehnika, nenasilne komunikacije i upravljanja projektima. Posebnu inspiraciju pronalazi u radu sa djecom i odraslima, vjerujući da podrška, razumijevanje i kontinuirani razvoj svakog pojedinca predstavljaju osnovu zdravijeg i kvalitetnijeg društva.
Maja Okanović is a social pedagogue and Director of the International Interactive Open Center (MIOC), with extensive experience in designing and leading developmental and educational programmes for children and adults, as well as managing international education projects. Through her professional work, she is dedicated to developing innovative approaches that connect professional support, family empowerment, and community development. Throughout her career, she has led and coordinated numerous national and international projects focused on the development of open schools within communities, youth empowerment, inclusive education, and strengthening social dialogue and cross-sector cooperation. As Director of MIOC, she is committed to creating innovative and sustainable programmes that contribute to the personal and professional growth of children, young people, parents, and professionals. Under her leadership, MIOC serves as a safe and supportive environment for learning, competence development, and networking, guided by a clear vision of building a more humane society. During her career, she has collaborated with civil society organisations, educational institutions, and international donors on projects related to education, healthcare, addiction prevention, human rights, and social support. She graduated in Social Pedagogy from the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation at the University of Tuzla and further specialised in sensory integration, leadership, psychotherapy techniques, nonviolent communication, and project management. She finds particular professional and personal inspiration in working with children and adults, believing that support, understanding, and continuous personal development are the foundation of a healthier and higher-quality society.
